("Sanrio," "we," "us", "our") treats the protection of your ("users," "you" or "your") Personal Data seriously and is committed to ensuring the safety of your Personal Data collected through www.sanrio.com.hk (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains the collection and use of your Personal Data on or through the Site. This Privacy Policy applies to this Site and any other services provided to you in connection with this Site. Kindly read this Privacy Policy before using the Site.   1. How we collect your Personal Data.

    In this Privacy Policy, Personal Data means any data relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“Personal Data”). Sanrio will collect your Personal Data in compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance for the specified purpose, the Personal Data we collect, and process include:
    1. Personal information when you wish to contact us. We will request you to provide your name, nickname, account name, telephone number, email address and any other information stated in the inquiry form on the Site.
    2. Business information when you or your entities wish to discuss potential business collaborations with us. We will request the name of the person to contact with, telephone number, email address, physical address and any other information stated in the inquiry form on the Site.
  2. How we use the Personal Data.
     
    1. Sanrio collects and processes Personal Data for the following purposes
      1. Providing services to relevant customers;
      2. Legitimate business interests, such as undertaking business research and analysis or managing the operation of the business

  3. How we collect the Non-Personal Data produced during your visit/use of the Site.

  4. How we use the Non-Personal Data.

    In addition to the uses described in Section 3 above, Sanrio may use and disclose Non-Personal Data for any purpose, except where we are required to do otherwise under applicable law. If we are required to treat Non-Personal Data as Personal Data under applicable law, we may use and disclose it for the purposes for which we use and disclose Personal Data as detailed in this Privacy Policy. In some instances, we may combine Non-Personal Data with Personal Data. If we do, we will treat the combined information as Personal Data as long as it is combined.

    We may anonymize and/or aggregate Personal Data so that it will no longer be considered Personal Data. We do so to generate other data for our use, which we may use and disclose for any purpose, as it no longer identifies any user.

    Sanrio may supply or disclose Personal Data under the purpose set forth in Section 2, without your further prior consent, to Sanrio’s group companies and other third parties that are Sanrio’s service assignees. Sanrio may also supply or disclose Personal Data to third parties when it is necessary for some other justifiable reason permitted by the laws and regulations.
  6. How do we protect your Personal Data.

    We have complied strictly with the relevant laws and regulations and implemented technical and necessary security measures designed to protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access and improper use. We will keep your Personal Data for as long as necessary for the specified purpose in this Privacy Policy.   7. Accessing, Changing or Deleting Your Personal Data.
     
    1. Unless otherwise stipulated by the relevant laws or regulations, you have rights to access, copy and change your Personal Data by email to us at marketing@sanrio.com.hk.
    2. You may request to delete your Personal Data by email to us at marketing@sanrio.com.hk. Once your Personal Data has been deleted, we will no longer process your Personal Data. But the deletion will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before the deletion.
  8. Privacy of Minor under 13.

    It is extremely important for us to protect the Personal Data of the minors. Minors under 13 shall not create any account on this Site or provide any Personal Data to us. Minors under 13 shall only visit and use the Site while with a parent or guardian. In the event that we found out the Personal Data is provided by Minors under 13, we will delete such Personal Data as soon as possible.
  9. International Users

    The Site is hosted in Hong Kong and is intended for and directed to users only in Hong Kong.
